About me

Some stuff about me, I guess

If you’ve actually decided to read this “About” section then you’re one of two kinds of people: someone who is serious about hiring an awesome content design leader, or you’re my mom. (Hi Mom!)

Born and raised in the great Pacific Northwest (though now living in the also-great city of Chicago), I’ve been writing stuff for as long as I can remember. I’ve done lots of different kinds of copywriting and content design, but I’ve grown into being a leader.

I currently lead a team of 7 (5 content designers, 1 information architect, and me) embedded across Docusign’s core surfaces including IAM, Workflow Builder, CLM, and eSignature. While I’m still doing a lot of tactical content design, I’m not focused on empowering my team, tirelessly advocating for the user, and building tools that scale us up. My most recent build was a Figma plugin that we can use to score our content against a Brand-approved rubric and have an objective number to back up our content decisions.

Going beyond work, I’m usually reading large books, writing fiction, watching soccer or basketball, and cooking. Drop me a line if you want a killer sourdough bread recipe.
